hi, ur team instead are too good to be in Div II now, but still lacking of qualities to challenge to stay in MBBA... even i'm not very sure if i can hold for long in MBBA, those team there are real giant, i have been up and downs from MBBA for few times, and i bet you would not like the feeling of getting bombared every match by them... Just like what Kwaiwah said.

Continue improving your team, not only the squad (u need more balanced and more than 1 superior star players) but also on the arena, with that only you can challenge them...i can see you better potential than others in Div.II, as u are very active in the forum and learning fast. Good luck to u next season. You should improve fast, and aware of Michigan Wolverines, Pmtg 3RM, and Super rockets, they are improving fast, they have been actively improving their arena, which is a good signs...

Hi Kwaiwah, ur advice is right for YxQy, i have been up and downs in MBBA and really feel the gap between MBBA and Div II...It's a big setback for my arena attendance every time i lost a game in MBBA even worst relegated from MBBA...we really need to aim for staying long in MBBA.

YxQy, u should learn from Kwaiwah on how he did manage to build a balanced team to stay in MBBA, i learnt that i've made many mistakes when i saw his team there.

I still experiencing if my strategy could work...i wish i can give some fight in MBBA for many seasons. See u guys on top!!!

Frankly speaking, I really feel more attention should be given to Too Cool and Damientor.

Since Season 9, I have noticed that Too Cool is accomplishing really great results with his team. His total player salary ($219K) has always been the bottom half of the league but he has never failed to end up the top 4. He did it in Season 9 and he did it again in Season 10. And he has actually achieved quite a number of upsets against teams like Damientor, TAT,Arowana Kings and KMC (In season 9).

Damientor on the other hand is also on the bottom half of the league in terms of total player salary ($244K) but has done very good match management on his last 5 MBBA games which earned him just enough to inch ahead of TAT based on point differential. A rather superb attempt and a rather gutsy one for him to try to Normal 'TAT' just to save on enthusiasm to CT on 'PJ Reds'.

These are definitely the two teams in MBBA to look up to. As they not only are able to maintain to be in MBBA but are able to do so much with so little salary. More importantly they are in the PO.

I was actually left with no choice. Needed 2 nos of win to stand a chance to reach the playoff. N my two last match is against TAT n PJ. The only logical thing to do.... Normal the first match, CT the second n pray for a win for both matches. A lost against any of those team would mean 5th place. Guess lady luck was shining on my side, as I won PJ by juz 2 pts n considering he TIE me while i CT him. Really lucky me.

I read RedDevilz initial post with great interest. While the top of the MBBA is anchored by several teams slugging it out for the prime positions, it is at second tier level that will benefit the country the most with every level of improvement. Promoting to the MBBA is an achievement in itself, but the real challenge is to stay in the MBBA. Doing it in your first season requires so many aspects of team management, it's safe to say you are really on par with the best Malaysian managers if you manage the feat with a squad fresh out of Div II.

Kwaiwah went from Div III to Div II in one season, went from Div II to MBBA in the following season, and stayed there during his 3rd full season. Doing this with his squad is harder than winning the double, take it from me. I hope there will be more up and coming teams promoting to the MBBA and punching above their weight. It really stirs things up when one or two regular MBBA teams find themselves in a relegation spot. Same can be said for the teams on top, everyone made smart purchases to cover problematic areas on the court. So this season, we kissed goodbye to inside/outside oriented teams. Most of the teams on top now have the versatility to mix it up and we've seen some interesting tactical matchups. Expect to see even more next season.

To teams at 2nd or 3rd tier, train up your superstars and I'll see you in the MBBA soon!

Well said Spaz!

It's been a long long way since a few of us first started out in MBBA back in Season 3. It has been a revelation to most of us in the beginning. In all honesty I find BB so much more challenging and interesting than Hattrick (although I am on my way to div II next season...kekekeke). There are a lot more tactical aspects to BB that I find totally absorbing and at the same time frustrating as well!

Kwaiwah is a really refreshing revelation in the last 2 seasons. He almost made the PO this season too. For sure he's not just surviving but giving us old timers a heck of a fight. That only proves his sound tactical acumen and team financial management.

Now, I only have to find a way to cope with the more than normal injuries I've had this season! And I'm looking forward to more new "Kwaiwahs" next season!
