why the game would allow them to move up division i can maybe understand, maybe they're too good for that league or something. I find it unlikely though that there wouldnt be a person capable of winning the season in their league.
Also i read that if there are bot teams in the upper divisions that players who came second in the lower Div may move up a division. It's not guaranteed though. Thus i think that even if he lost to a bot team, there may be a bot team in the above division who's place he may take.
