True, but you kind of deserve to get the worst of everything if you finish 8th.

or it means that you need the most help, if you're the weakest ;-)

I see what you're saying, but I don't think BB should reward teams by giving them some benefit because they got 5th place. The loss of playoff money isn't really their fault, since you had all season to fight your way into the top 4. And I do believe last season they gave 5th and 8th place teams extra scrimmages so that their training would be equal to playoff teams (I'm not sure of this, can anyone confirm?)

That being said, I'd hate to see this become like HT where people intentionally tank to get 6th/7th place in order to get full training and a best of 3 playoff series. I do think it's kind of BS that 6th/7th place teams get at least two games (and maybe 3), meanwhile 2 of the top 4 teams could be done after one game if it doesn't go their way.

Then again, right now playoff money isn't a HUGE advantage economically. But I would like to see some money given to the team that promotes as a reward for winning the series, an incentive to promote, and incentive for teams not to sandbag for 6th/7th.

Then it's a great time to train your team in free throw shooting or stamina- things that you don't need the 48 minutes in order to improve.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

I think the position reflect exactly what you get. You are not good enough for the playoffs and you are a bit better than the worst teams and therefore you are rewarded of NOT being relegated.

yesterday is history, tomorrow is a mystery, but today is a gift. That is why it is called the "present."

there is 1 arranged scrimmage, and you can arrange 1 extra, so everyone should be able to get 2 games in a week. Indeed no 3...

As for money, it indeed is not fair.
I sugest to let play-off temas keep their money from revenue (since there is no prize money for clinching a spot or promoting), but give revenue from play-downs to charity, so those teams won't be rewarded...

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.

But teams ranked 5th-8th will get better pick from draft.....if scouted good the players....
My opinion is taht no need to give extra money to teams who are ranked 5th-8th during play offs it will motivate them next season to develop better and play better to avoid staing 5th-8th..it is just a game and allways someone loses, there cant be all winnres.....thet my opinion....
