i can suggest one better?

just put the ball into the basket one more time than your oponents do on each type of throw...

A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

man, you've gotta have balls to play normal after losing the first game.. :)
also, i'm not sure if your enthusiasm will be higher after game-2..
after TIE in game-1, enthusiasm will tend to decrease to 5, there are five daily updates between game-1 and game-3..

his entusiasm would be much higher on game 3 because you CTed game 1. I am assuming here that both teams arrive at the finals with high enthusiasm. Cause if you arrive with enthusiasm 5, dont even bother thinking of strategies...

normal- normal- CT is best strategy in my opinion
1st game if CT you lose
2nd game it shoul be TIE you win
3th game if you same or strong you win ( for your enthuasism)
or
1st game if TIE you win
2nd game if normal (you are same) you will win ( because top enthuasism is 5)
3th game CT -CT if you are strong you win
or
opposite normal normal CT it same
then now we think our tactics :)

play normal in your first game... you may lose, but there's a greater chance that you'll win against the crunching opponent when playing normal than playing TIE in the first game...

I'm a risker, i get more excited with this scenario....

if i Lose, I'm sure i'll play normal next time, 'cuz my opponents' players are all beat up.

if i win, i'll comfortably play normal still, or even CT him so bad, he'll remember it 'till next season....

i don't take a 3game strategy, i'd like to win unmercifully... go, 2-0!!

in the first post there is asumed the opponent will play a certain order of normal and CTs.
What makes us think everyone will follow that strategy?

I think there will be a large variety of paterns managers might follow. Heck, I even changed mine for only 1 game more than 3 times in the last day before the game was played!

If for instance your opponent had to CT in his previous round to be sure to win (and that's lickely if it took 3 games!), you should NEVER CT in your first game if you have high enthousiasm.
This is why:

If he CT -ed his last game his max enthousiasm will be 6 (or maybe 7). If yours is 10, then you should have enough with normal, and even with TIE you make good chance of winning. Why should one waste his high level with CT in a situation like this?

In the scenario the first poster said it will be the best way, but fact is there is no way every opponent is going to follow this pattern. It's much more complicated than to say there is 1 winning theory.
In a way most managers will have to gamble, and if one gambles wrong....

They are not your friends; they dispise you. I am the only one you can count on. Trust me.
