I think beacuse proficient is the highest level, you would have sublevels on proficient if there was prominent GS.

But even without prominent GS, why can't proficient have sublevels? If we assume that levels are integers, i.e. strong is from 8 to 9, proficient from 9 to 10, etc..., I think there are still sublevels. The maximum cannot be 9, because then it would be very rare to have a player with proficient GS. So if the maximum is 9.99, there is still a range there for sublevels, no? Please correct me if I'm wrong, I'm just speculating

There is a BB post somewhere saying that there are no sublevels for proficient gameshape.
Also, if you check your players gameshape over several weeks whenever it is at proficient you will notice that is it at the same DMI (unless the player has dropped in skill or increased in skill).
