ye i totally agree, i dunno who would have one balled his response, but too many people place too much weighting on players with more potential. What's the point of someone like me training a HOF or MVP potentail player when i probably won't have the income to support him? I'd rather train a player with a lower potential, a player who i can pick up cheap and turn into a fairly decent player for my team.

Great guys, thanks for your feedback. That's exactly my reasoning. I'm in div. III right now and this guy with 15k salary will be more than enough to compete. At the same time I'm training two 18 y.o. with higher potentials, so when they're ready this guy will be a great backup. You're absolutely right when you say that you shouldn't aim for very highly paid superstars when you don't have the income to support them. Unless you want to sell them :P. haha thanks man, hopefully the socceroos can pull off a big one ;)

And gl with your players as well, you seem to know what you are doing anyway though.
