it actually gives you quite a large advantage, its not really comparable to a difference in game shape for a player

I think home court advantage boosts your team's ratings like 2 or 3 points of enthusiasm.

So, for example, playing home with an enthusiasm of 5 is equivalent to playing away with an enthusiasm that is somewhere between 7 and 8 (let's say 7.5).

So, playing a game home instead of away makes a lot of difference: you get +2.5 enthusiasm because you play home, and your opponent doesn't. In other words, clinching a better regular season record than an opponent you will meet in the playoffs gives you a net +5 enthusiasm bonus compared to having a worse record. That's an effect often underestimated when TIEing all games at the end of the season.

Does HCA really affect a result of league game in BB? It's not stated in the game manual. In real life, HCA can be a big factor of victory, but i'm wondering if it works on BB.

i would say that hcagives you around +10% extra points(or reduces the ones of the opposition, because mostly the defence ratings are higher but i normally count with +10-12 points), so it is quite big. The national appeal speciality is much lower, and can not counter this effect.

I am sure HCA increase both Off and Def but only on a very small scale.
But since ur opponent lose his HCA while he at your court, that makes the effect double up.

I would said 8-12points
