The number of teams has also gone up. It was 3613 last week and it is now closing in on 5000.

Is there a way to graph the growth of the game over time?

its a choppy graph but we could put one up...but basically it looks like this

there are periods of slow growth with some big spikes...we are currently in a spike.... all the spikes are coming from some kind of advertising we have turned on for a small period of time. We are getting a lot of hattrick users right now cause of some advertising we are doing there.

hopefully when we expand the number of teams in season 3 we will really be able to open things up. We are close to saturating in a number of countries, and we don't want users to not be able to sign up so we've been controlling the growth carefully so far...
