I found most other CP functions either self explanatory or adequately described on the help tab. If you have additional questions about the tool, you might want to pose them in the official thread (119279.1), but I thought I would respond to this post here in the general help forum since this is a topic that also came up in my fed, and i have seen confusion over it. The new version rocks by the way so mucho thanks to GM-Joseph Ka. I'm going to try to provide a simplified and hopefully not a flawed explanation of how this works in the 2.0.1 version, since this is just a result of what I figured out from using it. Also, the concepts of coach parrot, are discussed here (116609.1).

- On the MyData tab, you can copy/paste the skills table from your "set a lineup" page. You will then need to manually enter age/height/DMI. DMI is a figure also used by the GS calculator.

- On the Scout tab, set your coach level. In the target skill profiles, it is possible to overwrite the predefined target goals for players, to create a custom plans.

- Beginning in column AA24, you can choose which training types to enable/disable. Note that the training positions are referred to by number (1=PG, 2=SG, 3=SF, 4=PF, 5=C). So JS 12 for example, means training jumpshot for guards. Josef Ka had stated before that per default the enabled trainings will be single-position where available. I noticed however, that all of them were enabled by default, so I restricted my training types to 111010001001001101001001001010011. I figured this to be correct and optimal, but I could be wrong.

- The tactics priorities don't have any effect on the coach tool, but they do have an effect on training schedules to help players develop in a way that suits particular play styles. The priority tactics box used to be located on the MyData tab, but it looks like he moved it to the Coeff tab at AD8:AL22 in the latest version.

- Then again on the Scout tab in cell X3 you can select a player and in AF8, you can match a target profile to the player. This will result in a training schedule being displayed in the lower portion of the scout window. Note that the training weeks are in a naming convention that looks like s14w03(19): IS for 5, which means season 14, week 3, age 19, inside shot for C. You have to take salary caps into account yourself, because the spreadsheet does not calculate this. Salary cap info is available in the FAQ here (144856.33).

-There is another part at the top for virtual training weeks, which is basically calculating how many weeks a player would have to train from atrocious to get to their current skill level. I haven't found this useful, but if I understand the concept correctly, it is supposed to be a way to determine which players had more training invested. More important is the stuff just below this because it adds up how many pops they need to hit the skill profile (current skill deficit to target), and how many weeks this is estimated to take if you follow the listed training order (training weeks to target). It will also tell you how short they will fall of their goal based on age/height limitations (final skill deficit to target). It is possible that they will still fall short based on potential, because this is not calculated.

When you say it won't update, can you be more specific about your issue? Does it not allow you to select the players, and displays a training schedule that never changes, or does it not display anything? Can you select the player at all? Without knowing more about the actual issues, I can only recommend trying again with a new copy of the spreadsheet and to make sure you aren't overwriting any of the formulas or anything.
