So Here is the summary:
I lost by a bunch. I TIEd the game and rested some of my better players. Here is my summary of INSIDE ISOLATION.
First Shot distribution:
PG 13.5 17.5%
SG 20.5 26.6%
SF 9 11.7%
PF 17.5 22.7%
C 16.5 21.4%
As you can see about 43% of the shots came from PF and C. About 20% of my shots were 3 points. This is way higher than look inside.
Assist by Position
PG 4.5 26.5%
SG 3.5 20.6%
SF 3 17.6%
PF 2.5 14.7%
C 3.5 20.6%
I think you PF an C are passing out the ball more. Making Assist more equal.
TO's by position:
PG 7.5 30.0%
SG 3.5 14.0%
SF 5 20.0%
PF 3.5 14.0%
C 5.5 22.0%
I am not sure I trust this stat since My PG normally takes care of the ball well. But the number of TO's for Inside players is up from other games.
Reb by position
PG 3 12.0%
SG 3 12.0%
SF 11 44.0%
PF 16 64.0%
C 10 40.0%
It seems I did not rebound as well as normal. I am not sure what to attribute this to. This super small sample does indicate you need great inside reb.
Summary:
PF and C should be stars to effectively run the offense. You need not only great scorers and rebounders, but passing is very important. This offense is designed for all around PF and C. If you do not have the skills necessary, the offense will expose your weaknesses. The offense is ran by the PF and C, with them passing out to try and get open shots. It does lead to more 3 pt attempts than other inside based offenses and can help to cover up weaker players on the outside. I would love to see other results to help increase the sample size. I will keep playing this style in PL games to get a better sample.
Comparing to last season, It seems as though I shot way more 3 pts this game. Last season 11% of my shots were 3s. However, the spike could be due to the fact that I was down the whole game.
