I tried to assign numbers according to the role I see the players taking on the court, and honoring some of my favorite current and historical Orlando Magic players:
4- My first PG Gino D'Amour wears Scott Skiles number
12 - Stephan will be Dwight Howard-like, plus he's a teenager.
25 - He Yunilan has a pitiful freethrow skill. So did Nick Anderson in the '95 Finals.
32 - Nolan Isaac is pre-knee injury Dave Corzine or Shaq, take your pick.
35 - Though he bangs the boards harder than Ice ever did, Ching 'Mofo' Mofokeng honors Jerry Reynolds's 35.
40 - James Duggan will hopefully never fill out the 40 jersey the way Shawn Kemp did. Yikes.
You can probably guess why certain players wear 23 and 41 tho.
