I didnt think players would have more than an injury for that game in a scrimmage? So now because of a scrimmage i have lost my back up sf, great

On the plus side, you got real training minutes in your scrimmage, which wouldn't happen in a PL game.

It needs to be asked, but why in the world would you be playing your top players in a scrimmage?

To get the right minutes for GS perhaps. A backup probably wouldn't get enough minutes in league games.

Yeah, I was seriously surprised that a USA DIII manager didn't know this yet.

That would make complete sense if he was actually managing minutes.

Instead he plays all his players every game, the guy in question already had already played 49 minutes for the week. Another guy I looked at (not the guy's sub) played over 90 minutes.

But in his defense, he obviously didn't know that injuries could happen in scrimmages.

I was trying to maintain training and gameshape. I have had injuries during cup and scrimmage games before but my guys were never out for more than that one game so i guess i was jusst lucky. Truthfully i didnt get into this game that much till about 4 seasons ago.

I guess this is just one of those things i over looked. And i can start another guy who is qctually probably better but i wont have maybe one backup for 2 positions now. Kit change myntraining and not scrimmage this week.

Yeah. They suck.

I don't really get them either. They never ever happen in real life. Seriously, when is the last time you've heard someone getting injured in a practice scrimmage. NEVER.

The BBs should disable injuries for scrimmages or make them completely freak, 1 in a million type of injuries. It's a SCRIMMAGE, the players shouldn't be playing with much effort, it's ridiculous that flagrant fouls and whatnot are in scrimmages and injuries players.

Players get injured in pick up games, exhibition games and even practice. It might happen less frequently but it's borderline ridiculous to say it never happens in real life.

See Boozer, Carlos and Ellis, Monta.

People can get injured anytime, anyplace.
