Paul Bertram Sauer - C - HOF - $5712 (20812788)

Patrick Eade - C - all-star -$5697 (20812387)

Nope, they didn't. :P

The lists aren't based on salary, but a mix of current skills, projected trainability, and a dash of arbitrarily picking guys (as how to rank brand new 18 year olds is definitely not an exact science). Eade and Sauer are both interesting prospects, and on the scouting lists, but I don't see either guy as one of the top 6 draftees for C/PF.

I am sad my guy wasn't chosen :(

He got a double pop after first week of training.

No worries. :)

Chacon is still a very good prospect, with great height for a guard and amazing potential. He's behind slightly on starting skills (compared to the guys on the list), but his overall mix looks good, and I could definitely seem him developing into an amazing player.

Good old undrafted players that are created in the first few weeks of a season. :P

I think I would put Matthew Bradshaw (22255019) as the third team PF, and bump Usai off the list. In general, though, I think Williams is the best big man prospect, and then Bolduc, Notman, Bradshaw, and Kemp would be the next best 4 (in any order). After that, there is a bit of a drop down to the 6th best guy (keeping in mind that it is still way to early for these rankings to mean very much for future U21 teams and so on).

Looking at all 109 names on my 18 year old prospect list, regardless of position, Bradshaw is a guy that I would rank in the top 10. He would also arguably be top 5, depending on how the Bolduc/Notman/Bradshaw/Kemp list got shaken down.

nice. too bad i will forst train him in outside skills, so unless JNT can use well balanced SF with a weakness in JR he will be of no use. Hopefully can get him to NT some time

I find the interpretations of the elastic effect to be somewhat bizarre. It's like people only think of it working in one direction. Sure, jump range will train faster because it is much lower, however, because it's much lower, it follows that all the other attributes it's linked to will train slightly slower. I bet you that whether you train it early or later, it balances out to pretty much the same thing.

With the new training system that rewards balanced player development, there may actually be further incentive to not let skills lag behind.

Do you think you'll turn him into a small forward or power forward?

I am not sure. I will see what kind of trainees I will be able to get. For this season and the next one I plan to train outside skills. After that i will see how it goes

About elastic effect. I believe that 8 skills are at similar level so training houldnt be affected negatively in almost any way. When those 8 skills will be even at higher level and one skill will be pitiful than elastic effect has to count for something. In total I believe that way will be faster.

I might think about doing some JR next season though, to get it at least to average (not more than 8-9 weeks)
