I might be wrong with this one but I think that now (from season 16) acquiring draft points is a continuous process. The draft points does not reset to 0 at the start of the season. So there is not such thing as deadline. There is a deadline for submitting draft orders each season though, and for the current 10/30/2011 is the date to remember. Please correct me if I'm wrong with the info provided.
