i dont get how he cant make the U21 team yes skills maybe low but his potential is enough for U21.... all star caps anywhere between 70-90k and i knw u guys had the best team last yr but there were a lot of guys under that so he can definitely make u21 with all star

Except Allstars cap around 50k nowadays.

Still, I think an allstar can make it to the U21, especially if he's a Forward. He won't improve beyond that point, but that shouldn't be too surprising.

Unfortunately he can't be trained as forward because of Atrocious defense. The only role I see for him is a SG or poor man's SF that has to be switched to SG on defense. Pitiful DR is a pity so you would have to focus on his shooting, but JR eats the potential like no other skill and that's another blind end. So I really don't have any idea how to train this guy in order to be at least a bench U21 player.

It was a more general statement about the possibility of allstar U21 players, not necessarily about this particular guy. I agree this one would have a hard time catching up on the defensive end.

maybe this guy will be borderline but do nts really turn away 40-50k guys with good secondaries?

i think if u train him right he could be useful

Jump Shot: average Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: respectable
Driving: pitiful Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: inept

you cant improve the id but u can make him a good combo guard 2 get the most out of his potential

u should be able 2 get wondrous js & od
senastional dr & pa
prominent jr, ha and most important is
salary $42,342

i think if u can make him that he would be a very interesting combo guard 4 the nt

allstar cap is not high enough for what you describe.

he is an average 30k guard that will be servicable for seasons to come but I think you will be hardpress to reach what fishy describe unless your using a lvl 6 trainer and no injuries.

ill run it through the potential calculator later & see if u r right

i know this is very close 2 the potential limit so maybe 1-2 pops less

if he were to reach 14 OD then he would end up more like this at the start of 21

JS 14 JR 8
OD 14 HA 8
Dr 7 PA 7

JS would take an entire season, not to mention DR will take more than 1 season to get to 12

and he would be near to cap and training would start slowing down a bit.

cant agree

starting here

Jump Shot: average Jump Range: mediocre
Outside Def.: respectable Handling: respectable
Driving: pitiful Passing: mediocre
Inside Shot: mediocre Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: respectable Free Throw: inept

1 season = 14 weeks of od = roughly 7 pops in od maybe only 6 should get at least a dr & a ha secondary pop (8 pops in a season easy)
1 season of 1on1 = 14 weeks should get about 6 dr pops and 4-5 in ha & js (16 pops in a season of 1on1 doable)
1 season of pa/jr = hopefully 3 jr pops & 5 pa pops probably a secondary pop in each of js, ha & dr (11 pops in a season easy)

cant see that i am tryin to make any sort of amazing targets here

this gives u
js 12 jr 8
od 13 ha 13
dr 10 pa 10

& u still have an entire spare season to do theis & the last things u need but will need to watch the passing & handling or he may become a pg and cap 2 early

but as i said the inside shot will be tough & that may take a whole season to get the 5 pops, but u would also expect at least a js pop as a secondary

naturally 2 make the usa u21 team u will need really good training much better than the easy goals i detailed but i think the targets i set were realistic if u move the dr down and the ha up

you sure one on one gives you that many pops on its own?

I have never really done 1 on 1 extensively so I wouldnt know. that just make JS training seem redundant when DR along give you 5 off itself compare to whole season of JS may give you 6-7 + maybe 1 pop in Jr or HA.

but Od probably will only give you OD pop since those secondaries pops are usually high sub level ready to pop already. same with the other 1 pos training., that may have changed with the new system but then you probably would be able to get 1 pop per 2 week or so anymore then.
