Well regarding this game I had one ace in the hole, I actually had 10 enthusiasm and went crunch time, I think that evened it out somewhat. Unfortunately I made the mistake of using RNG when it seemed like my players can't shoot 3 pters very well, so I still ended up losing big time haha. Oh well I'll get him next season.

If you went 3-2, you would have been in serious trouble. He went LI and only shot 3 times from three. What you played that game on the off/def end was by convention a good decision. You lost because he outclassed you with a better team. I think I cannot agree with you saying RnG a bad idea in that game, he was eight levels weaker defending the perimeter (mediocre medium) compared to inside (strong low). Good luck in your next game.

Yes, I am very much aware of this long-standing argument as well but I still would like to believe that they don't just depend on the bigs to score in inside offenses, as was shown in this game in particular, where more than half of the shots were taken by SF, SG and PG.

Yes, I understand that oft-said thing very well. I was just pointing out that majority of shots in that game were taken by SF, SG, and PG instead of the bigs, and had he went 3-2 the scoreline would have been worse.
