A drop in enthusiasm can be fixed in 1 or 2 games. Screw up the gameshape of all your top players one week and it might be couple of weeks or longer before you get them back to the same level again. And you have to suffer through several games worth of lesser performances while trying to get them back up to their old level.

If you're screwing up the gameshape of one player, not nearly as big a deal. But it sounds like you'll be overplaying all your top players so it's going to harm your entire roster.

I see my Naismith opp in this week's cup game has the same dilemma after his OT cup game Tuesday.

I have the same problem this week, with this unexpected game.

Maintaining my squad's gs for just 2 games next week is more vital than ruining my starting lineups gs.

But it depends on your situation, if your cup game is winnable and you can take the hit in the league, why not?

I faced this problem last week, but it was an easier decision then because this week was the allstar game week, and my league game was easy. I ran my starters for 3 games, and now have a about 4 guys with average GS. Hopefully they can all improve for this next week.

If your league game was easy, why did you start all your starters and ruin their gameshape? You won the game by 50 so why not use your bench or most of your bench? Or pick up a player or 2 just for the week? Just curious.

Game shape is affected by multiple weeks, so your players won't fully recover during tomorrow's update. Seems a little shortsighted considering you're playing at Univ. of Michigan on Tuesday for what is essentially HCA during playoffs.

This is not anything personal, but some teams do not mind about such things. They rather have their team smash their weak opponents by huge digits than be smart and share the minutes between their whole roster. They care about numbers and stats more than they care about their success in the long run. They are that kind of managers that often lack of perseverance.

For me the question was 50K and the chance to earn more, having optimal training minutes during all star week, and higher enth for the game against Univ of Michigan. Not saying that I made the right choice. but I weighed the options and decided to go for it. what really would have sucked is if I lost the cup game that I had the guys play extra minutes in.

Results of game shape this week for the players I overplayed two weeks ago= respectable, respectable, strong, strong.
