Yeah..I brought this up and people called me crazy...It seems like this season(it wasn't like this last season) it is all about the game before. Even if you are on a 15 game WIN streak and you lose game 16, the fans will stay away for game 17 even though you are 15-1(which is plain stupid). but it is the BB way. I went from 19,326 to 15,129 to 17,619....It's so bad this season that I went out and bought a National Appeal PR guy..if you lose at home it really doesn't matter as long as your next game is on the road you can still make up by winning the road game before the next home game...I lost 2 in a row and then beat Wolph at his house and gained 65K in attendance(486K to 551K).
Here is an example from last season...I lost to Stunners on September 3rd and it was my 3rd loss of the season and my next Home Game..(36548585)...that is 18,888 I made 578K and it was only a drop of about 1200 to 20,080 from the Home Game before, I made 594K that game. I can live with that...but this season, I was undefeated at 7-0...( I did get knocked out of the cup early but the Home game before I had 19,170 fans come. I lose to you(Sharman) and my next home game is 14,482....That is a huge drop for a 8-1 team. How would fans lose faith in a 7-1 team that just got beat by a BB3 winner....It did get tweaked and I am not crazy.

@Superfly Guy and Yellow Cake: There was no tweak in that code, I assure you. The code is the same at least for the last 3 seasons (I can't be sure for the period before that). Losing an away game will have the most influence on your home game attendance even if you had all wins before that. It's not a perfect system, I agree, but it's the way things work for a long time.

Come on....That is not the truth...I gave you an example from season 17...OK..here is two from season 16...(33242742)....I lost this game at home and 20,079 fans showed up...I was lucky this season to have back to back games so my next game was at home..(33242749)..as you can see..I came off a 20 point loss and 20,012 fans still showed up...so let's do the math..I lost 67 fans because of that loss...this season only 14,000 fans would have come..big difference..OK..The second game I was playing a very good team so how about this example...(35677989)..I lost the cup final to Sharman and my next home game was against the 8th place team...(33242791) ..as you can see, 20,045 fans still came out to watch the smack down. So how is this the same as this season? This is why people are bringing this stuff up. It has changed no matter how many members of BB's Friendly staff says it hasn't. I mean come on already. If this was a measure you guys implemented to stop tanking teams from filling arenas then just come clean and admit it..It wouldn't be the first time the BB's did something with out asking the members what we think.

I think the only logical answer is: You are singled out (or all of Japan)... :D

Why would we lie to you? What's in it for us? Why do you think we work against you? (Please don't answer those, they are rhetorical questions)
If I say that we didn't change anything, then that's what happened. You can't predict the exact number of fans on the next game because there are too many things that affect it. And yes, we want to keep it that way, it's designed that way, it's part of the game. If you knew how everything works, the fun part of the game would be gone.
I guess admitting that your theory (that we changed something) is wrong is out of the question, so I'm going to say this: I can't prove to you that we didn't change anything without showing you the code (which is out of the question) so you'll just going to have to trust me on what I say. I'm here to help you and I don't arbitrarily choose on opposite opinion and lie, I base my statements on facts.
Bear one more thing in mind: I will not let this thread become a long discussion.

OK...I am on a 4 game win streak and my attendance goes down tonight...Now I really don't believe you. I even lowered my ticket prices...and still less fans showed up. I showed you my facts from season 16 and 17...something has changed with the way attendance is calculated and it is easy to see..

Again you accuse me of lying. Have you not read what I said before? I have no intention of repeating myself. Choose your next words wisely because I'm not going to tolerate such accusations again. Read the rules of the bugs forum and comply or your posts will be deleted, no matter how right you think you are.

I didn't accuse you of lying... maybe something happened that you don't know about. my point is this...maybe just maybe...BB Mark or BB Charles thought it would be a good idea to put a cap on how much money people could make on their arenas.(last season I was making 595K on average and this season it is only around 540K)...So let's say Mark tinkers with the code, now my question to you...
Would you know about it if he didn't tell you about it?... I know when BB Anthony was messing around nobody really knew about it, but he was just tinkering with his own teams stuff, I guess lowering the arena attendance codes would be a bigger project.
I know BB Charles is here in Japan(he used to come in the chat but hasn't in long time) and BB Mark is in the US( I think) and you are ?( I really don't know) How do you guys keep in touch?
Again, I don't(and never did) think you were lying to me and if you did, I'm sorry. I have listened to everyone's advice...it was WIN, lower ticket prices...and I am and I did lower ticket prices and my attendance still went down. I will just keep winning and hope the fans come but as of right now..They aren't. Thanks for your time...
BTW..I haven't seen BB Charles or Mark in the forums for a long time...are they still playing?

In the interest of concentrating on the issue and not argue who said what, I'm going to let it slide this time. Next time just make sure you do the same.
It's possible Charles or Mark made changes to the code and never told me about it, but it's highly unlikely. We use Skype on everyday basis and are constantly in touch. Also, we are always made aware of such changes in code that affect all users.
I will check your numbers, but you should be aware that there are a lot of things that affect arena attendance, so it's as straightforward as you probably think.
