Your league is balanced but that might be because there isn't a really dominant team in it right now. Someone could easily take control of it if they wanted to spend a little.

But the toughest league in D2 to win is without a doubt II.3.

They were by far the strongest division last year, graduated the best winning D2 team to Naismith in the Hamilton Hosers and the remaining teams are rewarded with getting the strongest relegating Naismith team, Brotherhood123. Not sure how the engine decides where teams promote/relegatate but that was flat out cruel.

So true, i still cant believe im 0-2 with a 450K salary. :( This is the hardest league in all of Canada to compete in and each season if you decide to rebuild and retool you end up with the threat of getting relegated. This is by far the tightest league from top to bottom. Especially when you have roughly 5 teams that are probably good enough to win in another league.

It's not about how much you spend, but how you spend it.

But look at the ratings of the Hosers/Bryant finals from last season or even look at the ratings Hoser's are putting up now in Naismith.

not sure if ours is updated but, in II.2, we have almost hit 330k. I guess I'm fortunate about getting into II.2. That is, until a team in my conference got 3 100+k players. Hopefully, I'll avoid relegation this season :p

Week #3

1. Sun O)))s(4-1)
Highest ranked in the league and highest ranked in the power rankings, this team has been beating teams and beating them badly. With Canadian Delain Sanderson leading the way this team is looking to try and finsh the first round of interconference play with a 6-1 record.

2. East-End Screaming Goombas B.C.(4-1)
Right behind Sun O)))s this team started off badly, but have improved after their early defeat. They could be in first after next week with a game against Sun O)))s coming up.

3. The UTE(4-1)
A couple of dominating victories over Lightning Thunder and 85 FG% and this team is sitting pretty atop their conference. Ranked second in the league, this team has a weaker conference then the two teams ahead, but can still over take Sun O)))s soon.

4. Big ballerz(4-1)
A tough road win against O-Ballas and a nice home victory over Cheetarian has this team in 3rd. Jose Funes and Jackie Ernst are leading the way for this team and with games against Murfs Blue Devils and St.louis Beasts coming up those two will be tested.

5. St.Louis Beasts(3-2)
With back to back tough games against Toronto Towers and Murfs Blue Devils this team sits in a playoff position in striking distance of first place. A nice run can put this taem over the top.

MVP: Jose Funes(11091327) - Currently averaging 23 poits and 15 rebounds a game leading Big ballers to a playoff position and the best record in the league.

Zero: Shabbies(25026) - Starting off 3-0, but then losing their last two games this team does not know what is going wrong. Two tough close games against Botwood Raptors and Van Cougars leaves this team searching for answers, but do not worry they play the lowly Lightning Thunder next!

Dissappointed: Every one has a loss and everyone has a win. Boring.

Was surprised to see that i had not posted in this thread. Unfortunately my team is going to shits right now. Already have had 3 1 week+ injuries and just do not have a strong team in general. The race for 6th begins! :D

feel free to take a look at leaguue II.1 forum for weekly power rankings, game summaries, and maybe some smack talk :D join the conversation in one of the most exciting leagues out there. Almost half of the teams have means or will to pursue promotions, and race between 5 teams is very tight, with some sleepers just waiting for mistakes by favourites out there.

My team is totally GARBAGE it sucks a lot when you look at the salary i am currently paying. I do not understand for the love of god why my team performance sucks so much. I am so pissed and ready to just sell of my entire starting 5 and go back to division III for 2-4 seasons

Why do you have to demote to D3? Why can't you change your roster and still stay in D2?

The beauty of this game is if you hate your roster, you can change it any time your like. Sell the players you don't like and replace them with guys you do like.

You would probably win the relegation series even if you were on the road. No need to sell your roster off.

EVERYTHING IS HAPPENING IN LEAGUE II.4

Just when all was quiet on the Western front, all hell has broken lose.
Over in the Great 8, the Hounds were busy cruising to promotion, rolling along with a single defeat, while long time owners were dropping like flies.
That was also the view from the Big 8, and so the transfer wire was filling up.
Playoff hopefuls like the Clodhoppers and Fundamentally Sound,
fresh off elite 8 appearances in Canada's national tournament,
surveyed the landscape and determined it fraught with peril, perhaps another time.
Stars were left dangling, and the purchase of one changed everything forever.
It was a short message:
Denny Hall (18665337) Purchased from Fundamentally Sound for $ 4 053 000.
Certainly the down sell-out mood had changed in Sound headquarters,
especially with more transfer news that followed:
Fundamentally Sound has just sold Adrián Alquézar for $ 1 000 000 (10675334)
What to do with an influx of more than $5 million?
That's the $5,053,000 question in Canada II.4.
The rest of the Big 8 and the Hounds must be quivering for sure.
Not so, apparently, for deep into the night, more news:
The Ravens has just acquired Cosmin Cardei for $ 561 000 (9672731)
Hey Beener, your Hounds got enough now?
Your move Coach coach, your moves indeed.
