They were all defensive rebounds, and you missed a lot of shots. He had 15 rebounds total from the SF position, but they were all defensive; you had 5 offensive rebounds from players who played the most of their minutes at SF.
The guy who went 2-19 and played for you at SF for much of the game was also a SG, and with only mediocre rebounding. So you have a guy jacking up shot after shot and missing them, and not having enough rebounding himself to dominate another team's SG playing at SF, and it's no wonder that he picked up a lot of defensive boards. When you miss 28 more shots than your opponent does, he's going to pick up a lot more rebounds than he normally might.
