Another suggestion about fouls during final seconds.
Yesterday I lost my game after I was leading by 5 points with 4 seconds left, and 3 points with 1 second left.http://www.buzzerbeater.com/match/46125417/reportmatch.as...
I don't want to question my defeat, but I think that a strict leading team, when there are few seconds left, doesn't usually want to let the others make 3pt shots, and so they usually foul (especially in my case, where I didn't reach even the bonus, so a foul in this situation would have been surely made to avoid a painful 3pt buzzerbeater.
So, for example, I'd like that, if there are few seconds left (<10, or <20, for example) and the leading team is leading by a number between 3 and 6, the leading team makes delibertely foul to avoid 3pt shots, as the losing team usually does.

Even at high levels you often miss that crucial foul before the opponents three ... ask us Germans and don´t mention "Turkey" when doing it ...

I agree but I still think the game engine should use some fine tuning for last second plays.
The game should react with better logic to some situations.

I understand, but I think the leading team should however try to block them before that. If even with this choice the others are faster, they deserve to make the shot, but, if I well remember, I've never seen the GE follow this kind of tactics.

Honestly - I´ve won games when I got the D-Rebound with 0:01 left on the clock and connected on the shot within time without calling a Timeout or shooting a three. Last second´s game engine is horrible at times. Just not the mentioned example ;)

Yes, they told me about such finals in BB Italy. :)
I suppose it would be fair that, if they decide to fix the last seconds, all these issues will be properly faced, mine , yours and any other known :)

What level of experience allows a player to go from his foul line to the opposing foul line in the space of one second?

Yeah, had something like that happen in my league game Saturday.
1 second left, other team missed a shot. 1 second left, my Center player, a "natural" PG, got the rebound . 0 seconds left, he had threaded a pass to my scoring guard who missed a shot in the paint.

What a laser beam that pass must be to go full court in less than a second and give a guy enough time to shoot from less than 8 feet away.

I suggest BB concentrates all its effort on fixing late game scenarios. It just does not make any sense to be down 1 point with a minute to go and foul and foul and foul until you get them in the bonus, so they can extend their lead.
It's so flawed!
Career stat was a wonderful addition, but I would give it up together with some other improvements for late game scenarios that make sense.
Time outs is another puzzler. Not taken when the momentum swings or when useful, i.e. after a RB with 20 secs. left and down by one possession, but instead when the lead has ballooned and 1 sec. left. It's gotta be a way to put some exceptions in the GE.
I don't even understand how people get to RB and layup in last sec. craziness, if I'm down by 1 point with a minute to go, I'll sure lose by 6!
