PG-Magic (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uZHXe3eTooY)
SG-MJ (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=26K6HU6Cz_E)
SF-Lebron (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NjBreNO4n_M)
PF-Duncan (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uN9FQ3RGjX8)
C-Russell (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=40iKnaUjz_w)

BENCH
PG-Robertson (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ecgwZVnvPIc)
SG-Maravich (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t-bhv5s7yGY&feature=re...)
SF-Bird (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JxV1rmsHH00)
PF- Barkley (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=W0COm1MfaWM)
C-Olajuwon (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QoKMBu9lAuo)

I picked my team as a team that would work well together, not just the best players. There are no real egos on this team, they would work together well. I have stonewall defenders in the paint in Russell and Olajuwon, great rebounders in Barkley and Russell, and some of the best passers ever in Magic, Pistol Pete, and the Big O. The beneficiaries of these passes of these passes would be some of the greatest scoters ever in MJ, Bird, and Lebron. Plus the most fundamentally sound basketball player ever, Tim Duncan.

I recommend you watch all of these highlight videos, because they are, frankly, amazing, but I would say that the Magic, Lebron, Maravich, Barkley, and Olajuwon videos are must watches if you're only going to watch a few.

Larry B, Charles B, Malone, T Duncan, Kareem AJ, Chamberlain or Malone would work there... Even at the wrong position, any of these guys deserve to be there more than LeBron...

LeBron is great and may become a legend, but he is still far from these guys...

Ridiculous.... no. pre-emptive and way early for. Yes.

LeBron has only shown for literally 1 playoffs... that he can "play well with others"

The reason we needed a "redeem team" to begin with last Olympics, is because LeBron James couldn't play well with others in the Olympics prior to that, and thats why they didn't win the Gold. Spain was good... but not so good where they should have won the gold.

I'd have LeBron as a reserve.... I'd have him on the team.... but honestly, I'd be very careful of when and whom I play him with, because historically, he has not played well with others. MOST PLAYERS, that LeBron have played with, have not had their best games, seasons, or even benefitted from playing with LeBron.

Ya, but thats debatable... LeBron is not on the all NBA team but currently he's the best player... He may not be a great team player, but he's still an amazing player, I dont think any coach would put him on the bench...

Russel should probably be on the main team, Barkley probably on the bench (both debatable)

Also, no Malone or kareem AJ?

West is 6'2" 175. You're telling me he matches up with 6'8" 270 Lebron? Lebron is simply the strongest, most athletic player to have played the game up to this point in history. If we were picking teams based on stats, I would agree with you, Lebron has no business on this team. But we are picking the best players ever, not the best stats ever. All of my players would be able to play in today's NBA, with the exception of possibly Russell, but with his incredible drive to win, I think he would do anything to be successful.

This statement is ridiculous. You know how many minutes Lebron played in the 2 group stage losses in Athens? (I can't find the box score for the semis loss) He played 18 out of a possible 80 minutes. I would say blaming losses on a player that played that little is unfounded. Also, Argentina won the gold that year, not Spain. The USA beat Spain in the quarterfinals.
