"train him as a SF" makes no sense if you mean a training position, thus, i assumed he was asking if he should train the player to become a guard or SF (he is listed as a SG).

But i agree that the player would make an excellent PF if you add some SJ, PA, HD and OD before swiching to inside skills.

i never said it, even when i think a good PF is also a good SF as long so many teams play LI.

> I think, yes
> ...training to get an excellent PF

guard or SF =/= PF even when SF and PF share a lot of skills

sorry for nitpicking but i want to avoid misunderstandings and a 7 footer ending up to be trained as guard and retire without any notable inside skills.

My new draftee:

Age: 18
Height: 7'0" / 213 cm
Potential: hall of famer
Game Shape: respectable

Jump Shot: inept Jump Range: respectable
Outside Def.: mediocre Handling: inept
Driving: average Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: average Inside Def.: inept
Rebounding: respectable Shot Blocking: mediocre
Stamina: atrocious Free Throw: mediocre

Experience: atrocious

Does it make any sense to train him as a guard or SF? Or would it really take too long because of his height? Otherwise how to train him, PF or C? Would be my first big guy trainee.

first of all PASSING PASSING AND AGAIN PASSING

I`m the nicest person you will know:)

I dunno... ever seen people train Yao Mings to play as guard? Just to answer the question I haven't seen a decent 7'0" in buzzerbeater yet.

But you can be the first :D
