China winning the world cup was considered an upset? That's a surprise to me... China always had that aura of dominance from what I've seen (never outside the top 5 in world rankings, winning the Asian Championship so many times that Australia's win in season 19 was considered an upset, etc).

Plus it's NT level, where most of the big nations are loaded with capped HOF players and therefore the teams are almost evenly matched, at least compared to most games at club level. So I'm not sure you can call China's victories 'upsets'...

It seems to me there are no real upsets in this game, which frankly sucks but oh well.

4th beating 1st, that is an upset I suppose. But the fact still remains he put more effort into that game.

Sometimes being the key word. A lot of times it's just down to luck and what not. Sometimes it's just not their day while the other team is on fire. These things happen in every sport and it's definitely not only up to game shape and enthusiasm.
