Actually 7 weeks is possible for injuries. My main problem is that he has an advanced doctor which to my understanding prevented players from being injured for more than 3 weeks (if i remember correctly from a forum post about it).

I've never seen anything beyond a 5 week injury, and I've never seen anything at all to suggest that the maximum injury length is tied to the trainer level, only the probability of longer injuries.

I believe ive seen a couple of 7 week injuries but maybe im mistaken. Im not talking about it being tied to the trainer... Im talking about the better doctor you have the length of the injuries for your team decrease.

This is Buzzerbeater, not NBA ;) So your example with players from NBA is a little stupid ;)) This is just a game ;)

I think that is a bug. With an advanced doctor you shouldnt see injuries more than 3 weeks, i thought.

Speaking as another player in this game, (Not a GM), I would like to caution you against speaking so definitively about things that either you don't know for a fact, or is just your opinion.

There is no steadfast rule that says if you have a certain level Doctor that your injuries can't be longer than a certain period of time. The Phoenix Suns are known for having the best medical staff in the NBA, and all of sports probably, and yet that didn't prevent Joe Johnson from Smashing his face on the court and breaking his orbital bone a few years ago. The same is true in BB.

Having a high level Dr. in BB is a great prevention against injuries (in theory), and usually the injuries that are suffered are shorter in duration, but not always. The idea is a High level Dr will help keep players muscles loose and in top shape and all that....but if a player steps on another players foot, or get's body slammed on a flagrant foul, the best Dr in the world can't prevent those kinds of injuries.

I know a guy who has consistently runs with a L6 or L7 Dr and his team suffers more injuries (2 to 3 week injuries as well) than any other team I know.

Also....I think a better question or discussion to have is why is that Staff members salary increases 2% of every week...but their ability to peform their job stays the same?

If I buy a L4 Dr. and his salary goes from 16k a week, to 46K a week over time, he better be moving up the charts in terms of his reputation in that job. In what situation would an employer keep raising an employees pay, and yet the employees ability to perform the job stays exactly the same? STUPID!
