You are doing it wrong.

Driving trains with 1-on-1 training either at the forward, wing or guard positions.

You never got the full 48+ in the last weeks.

This week your guy played 46 minutes at PG and 36 at SF. No full training possible.
Last week he played 32 at PG and 25 at SF. No full training possible.

No wonder you don't see the results you expect. Private league games minutes don't count towards training.

If you are going to train 1n1 for guards, then he needs 48+ minutes total at the PG/SG position each week during League + Scrimmage/Cup games to receive the full training amount.

Training 1n1 for Forwards, he will need 48+ minutes at the SF/PF position each.

Looks like you havent been achieving this.

Makes a big difference if he only gets 30 minutes or something in a week at the position.

Thanks for the patronising comments guys, I know how training works. He got subbed off in a blowout one week and had an ingame injury in the other. He is star potential so will be easy to cap despite some incomplete training weeks.

His potential has nothing to do with incomplete trainingsweeks not being effective.

You can not call it 4 weeks of training if he hasn't really had 4 weeks of training. I can understand that others sound patronizing but it sounded as if you were complaining that something was weird because your players hasn't popped in driving while the reason is that you don't really give him near enough minutes of training.

Ignore the last few weeks of his training, my initial concern was why driving didn't pop after 1 week of One on One. Before I bought him he'd played every game of his career at PG, about 20 weeks worth. He had 12OD so I'll assume training was left on pressure the whole time, probably two position or with a low level trainer. Pressure trains some driving, I don't know the exact figures. With a high driving sub level plus the elastic effect I was certain he would pop.

I trained One on One the first week because I had an extra trainee, haven't trained it since.

good to know that your training minutes were bung because of injury etc - apologies if peeps ragged u for not putting in proper training minutes because obviously you DO know what ur talking about.

lets clarify a few things first.

Pressure trains driving - Yer. sorta. To get one pop in driving, thats ONE single lowsey pop in driving, you would need to train (according to the offs-site training speed analysis stats) 25 weeks of pressure.
So yes. Pressure trains driving. but so slowly its not funny and possible that it doesn't even do it and those stats are wrong! (possible, not saying thats the truth. just putting it out there).

1n1 for Guards - You need approx 2.5 weeks of 1n1 to pop in Driving. depending on height, trainer level etc etc a few other factors.

so unfortuantely - if I do some very rough maths and make some assumptions, it does mean that it is still possible that the guy has not popped in driving.

very odd yes. impossible? no. not a bug sorry. in saying that - far out he must be close to popping.
