I have some good prospects.

I have a bunch as well - however, they are already Bulls.

They are scouted to varying levels, but I have one that is rated 5A5 and a total of seven that currently are rated 5.

Good prospects are for the TL

Only criticism for the new draft system is that if you're going to call a player in for a training session, that they be better than 2 or 3.

I have potential info on 11 players and 5 of them were rated 2/3 before coming in for team training. Kind of a waste. Even better would be if you got to choose the few that could be called in for training.

Not on potential, on present. One that is rated 5 on potential.

That would make sense, I scouted 2x2* twice & 5x3* twice, seems a bit of a waste.

It would be nice to see the scouts only call the 4* & 5* players in for a closer look, maybe 20% of the others just incase they played a bad game but have great potential.

In other news, nth_mlb_giants have FINALLY scouted an A+ player, but with 3rd last pick we aren't expecting him to fall.

I've got some decent prospects.

Has anyone been following the thread on the draft in Global? If so, is there any useful information? I've just about given up reading that forum.

i think that is the thread that turned into a debate on injuries and/or enthusiasm, with kozlodeov (sp?) proving his devil's advocate skills must be nearing legendary.

there's really nothing good in there. i think we're all awaiting confirmation that potential will be visible on players in the TL.

I figured potential was an idea as to the players' age...is it something else?

From the news item posted by charles:

Potential? Oh, right, I guess I should mention something about that as well. Each player will now have a potential rating, ranging from "bench warmer" to "all-time great". Sadly, there are a lot more players whose career will peak at "bench warmer" than at "all-time great", but we can all dream, right? Potential acts as a soft cap on player skill. When the player's skills reach the maximum their potential will allow, their training will slow down considerably, but will not become zero, so you can still train that favorite player of yours and prove your scouts wrong.

All existing players will be given a potential rating of "all-star". This is in the middle of the list of potentials, but puts them in the top 20% of all draftees.
