see if i'm doing my math right or if i'm missing something (i'm a political science major so it's very likely that i'm not). including the last two weeks of last season that gives me 13 weeks of scouting at which time i always did 2 players a week without exception. 13*2=26...yet i have 37 pieces of information, which is an odd number to boot. i never changed the scouting to 1 player a week so there shouldn't be an odd number of information.

Yep, sounds right. So, it looks like you have 11 free pieces of information.

I have 14 pieces of information. I can't recall exactly when I cut my investment to 0, but I know I cut it down from $40k/week, which I believe provides 3 pieces of info. So if I did get one week in for this draft (possible), that would be 11 free pieces for me, too.

Edit: Oops, I'm wrong. $40k is 4/wk. Anyway, at most I invested for 3 weeks in this cycle, and I only invested at the $40k (4 players) level. So I'm either getting 2, 6, 10, or 14 free scouting chunks.

I think I can confirm this. As far as I can remember, I cut my investment to $0 either before the season or very, very early in the season. I can currently see star ratings for 12 prospects, and potential ratings for 2 of those 12.

Scouting for next season starts during the playoffs, so you may have some scouting left over.

I can see 27 prospects plus 7 potentials. Which pretty much matches my scouting effort of 2/week. Maybe a little bit more info, since the season is 14 weeks.

There are 14 weeks in the season. The regular season starts on Saturday at the end of the end of the 1st week of the season. It lasts until Saturday of 12th week (and extra 1.2 week because of the skipped Tuesday before the ASG). And then there are two weeks of playoffs.

There might be a tiny bonus scouting. I have 34 pieces of information, but I can't remember when I switched to 2/week. I might have done it after I actually promoted to D.III.

we give everyone some base level of scouting for those teams which are new and so necessarily could not have scouted all season. We picked the level to not overly disadvantage newer teams and make the draft still fun for them, without making investment in scouting irrelevant.... I hope we are somewhere in that balance.

The people I know have received the team the past season. They´re not new players, that´s why I've talked about this bug :(

interesting, with 2 players per week I can also see 9 potentials but 27 players (instead of 28), normally we should have exactly the same numbers! (and to top that at the end of the previous season I had 4 per week). What can justify this?

this all would be more clear if we could see something like a total draft cash pot. Because it's hard to check how much money you've put into the draft this season, since the breakline for this and next seasons' expenses isn't that clear either.
