Also since he is a center, would training passing help switch him to a power forward?

Passing alone wouldn't turn him into a PF. He also needs better levels of JS, HA and DR.

If you want him to be a PF by Buzzerbeater standards, you just need higher Jumpshot, then his position will change.

About the training, I'd focus on 1v1, and train OD and PA when you have a good opportunity too (when it doesn't hurt your league games to play a Center at PG). If you can train him in scrimmages so your league games aren't affected, I'd train 1v1 forwards first until DR/HA are around 9, so you'll have a great elastic effect for OD and PA. You should start mixing in PA/OD when it's behind Handling 4 levels (so when HA is 5 and PA is 1, train PA until it pops then continue 1v1 training).
