Your arena looks great, but I would start working on the lower tier seats. Your squad is not cut out for D.III, and if you lose alot in D.III, your bleacher attendance will take a harder hit than the more expensive seats. Your average team rating is 8.8, which would be the worst in my current D.III league, and thats not even taking into account that a players rating generally drops when being promoted to a better league. You'll need a team salary of at least $200,000 to be a competitive team, and much higher if you want to have a good shot of promoting to D.II.

Just relax. You'll be fine. Increase arena size when you can and make some solid purchases, but keep up with your training plan on manage your enthusiasm well. You'll probably be pushing for the 5-7 seed in most DIII leagues.

Other than arena size (I am working on that right now) What things do I need to work on for my move up to DIII. I am really excited, but I think I may get regulated next season... Which wouldn't be the worst thing... Thanks guys! See you out there!!! :-)

You definitely won't survive in D.III with only 7 players. You have some really good starters, but your gameshape will suffer soon or later and the teams with depth will really have a big advantage on you. At its current state, I could see your club going somewhere between 4-18 to 7-15, depending on the league. You need one more starter to have an across-the-board quality starting lineup, and then pick up 3-4 players for backup/role positions, somewhere in the $8-$16k salary range. But your team is getting old. Unless you want to cough up alot of coin for replacing them with younger guys, then relegating back down and making another run with younger guys might not be a terrible thing. Just my opinion.

Usually you want one all-star level starter on your team, then a supporting cast to fill the rest for a middle of the road d3 team (like look at my team for example...managed tactics trained Shah and Stratford and I got 5th). I kind of have to agree with spoon here cuz my league is all about 90k bigs and such sorts so when you want to make a jump to d2 I suggest getting high level bigs when the time and finances come.

I have a similar question, as I will most likely be going up to D.III again. How would my current team stack up against most D.III leagues?

I love your All American team Sons Of Ander. Well done, I tried that a few seasons ago and did not have the patience for it. How is your merchandise?? I read somewhere that if you have all USA team and are based in USA that your merch goes up...

Haven't had a big over 40K my time here and I would say I've done pretty well. Actually haven't had a player over 50K except my last PG and that was due to his insane combo of PA+OD. My first season I don't even think I cracked 180K as a whole team.

To OP: To survive in D3 you need to really prepare against teams, have a solid defense. I personally don't take a guard under 14 OD and a big under 15 ID/7 OD. That's just my personal preference, you might want to trade off some D for offense but I suggest going for versatility. Some times you'll be matched up against high OD teams, other time high ID so your team has to be able to adjust. That might come steep though. Easy for me to speak of it since I've always had a versatile team, just swapped players here and there haha. My advice would be to take advantage of the attendance boost, load up on cash, bring in players here and there. Slowly build up your team, it'' be worth it in the long run. Better to have one mediocre team for one season and a great one for seasons than the other way around.

I managed to avoid relegation in my D3 league in my first season with a team with under 120K salaries, then this season in D3 I managed to finish third in my conference and came very close to beating someone with about double my salaries at their arena. If you play your tactics right in D3 you can easily survive relegation and make tons of money every week. Before you say that my league is easy, almost all of the teams in my league have over 200K in salaries.

Say "regulated" one more time and I might go insane :)
