It depends on his skills but I had a player same potiental with 112 tps. Try to use: (http://www.buzzer-manager.com/)
you may have an idea about how far you are to cap the player

I've been able to max out a SS, on Josa Ka's training simulator, at 138 skill points.

The key to getting most skills points is to walk the line between several different listed positions. Like the one I'm working on will float between a C and a PG for the next 5 seasons before getting capped.
