Thank you for your assessment. I'm looking for a better doc and trying to play different tactics. it can only get better

Injuries may well be communicable. Not just here but definitely IRL as well. This past autumn was a great example. Pull for University of North Carolina in college football and basketball, and on the gridiron they had close to two dozen players get hurt. In pro ball I am a Washington Redskins fan, and they too had about 20 players miss games.
And then there is what happened out here.2/3 of the way thru the season my boys were 10-5, then we had THREE players go down in the 4th period of a lost cause. One for a week, one for two and one for three. Then after the guy who was down a week came back his backup went down for two weeks. And then when the player who went down for three was about to come back one of the other guys he is in rotation with went down for three weeks. I went from being in 2nd and thinking conference title or at least HCA for the first round of the playoffs to 6th, fortunately my RL was against someone mailing it in.
Forward to this season. The night before the opener I grab a crusty old timer with some tread left on the tires to give the backcourt a boost. Well wouldn't you just know, he "takes a hard shot" and is knocked out for two weeks. If I am lucky I get him back tomorrow, more likely Tuesday or Thursday and possibly not until NEXT Saturday. Oh and his GS is down to inept so it will be about two more weeks until he gets his groove on.
Sometimes I hate this $$@&_#)+ game

A player I just bought for my Utopia team was on the court for all of 25 seconds before he got injured. I'm sure there has been quicker but that was pretty ridiculous to me.
