I'm not sure people would want to pay more for a player that has leveled a few levels in FT.

I am just starting to go into free throw training and plan to do it for about a month or so and I was just wondering if anyone has any information about training effects compared to the amount of players.

For example, would a team with 5 players training free throw have the players gain free throw training at a lot faster rate than a team with 18 players?

You sure you havent got a better option than this?

I cant imagine it will be as profitable than sticking with a primary training regime. How have you evaluated this decision?

I would have 2 levels more JS or IS or ID or OD or PA or RB etc! any day of the week on my top 3 guys than 2 more levels of FT for my team. But I guess thats what makes each team unique! - Good luck!

I think that it is not so wasting of a time or money to train FT, because players doesn't want to raise their's wage for this kind of training and the affect to a game isn't so pitiful like you maybe think - I reached playoffs only by this way last season...

I plan to give my players as much FT as possible after a regular training (I think after 5 seasons or so), because they will be great because of this and will not want so much salary, but don't tell that to anybody, it's a secret;)

this is point I always thinked about, but never figured out...

if there isn't a reduction of training speed during "older" 22-24 years, was a totally nonsense to train my 19y players FT now, dam

i guess the only exception to this is if we dont get a new lvl10 coach for ages so instead of using a lvl8 guy to train main skills we use the coach to train FT as his level is not important...

I fully understand the FT training...on the basis that team performance in the current season can be improved. Which in itself can produce better trading results.

As an example I'm in a low league in Australia. I joined a couple of games out from playoffs. I missed the playoffs by 1 game. That game happenned to have me up in the final minutes of regular time, OT1 and OT2 lol In each case the opposition went into foul mode. Amazingly they kept fouling my worst FT shooter...that would be expected in the real world. He went 0-17 lol If my coach was any good he would have got that man off the court. With this sort of problem (my coach that is) I missed the playoffs. That is money (I assume) - OK it's not money via selling players but it is general trading income. And winning games must affect the home attendance income too (I assume).

Coming from a Hattrick background I also understand the "train them young in primary skills" tactic. Just shows there are many ways to approach team management.

Good luck to whichever way you go.
