If they have to be different levels, I prefer my SF to have a higher concentration of OD while the PF has a higher concentration of ID. SB is a must for all positions IMO

This is without a doubt correct. No SB you may as well have no ID. I'd prefer my guards as well as my bigs to have ID and SB the same, or close but I've never been able to manage that on a guard with decent ID.

Also agree with the different levels of OD for SF and PF though I almost prefer the two positions to be almost interchangeable. I've played with a PF at SF, and won a championship (in my insignificant nation) with a SF at PF.

Further to my comment earlier in the thread about 10 SB not being enough, I should have made clear I meant for either position. Though the SF I trained for the England team only had 10 SB. Even that low is significantly better than 7 or below for all kinds of reasons, but more is better.

Even in d2 where I am now, I wouldn't want a starter with less than 15 SB. (Excepting trainees of course).

And what other skills are you willing to sacrifice for having so much SB?

So much? 15 is not a lot. My current C (bought) has 17. I don't think sacrifice is the best word. Its not really sacrificing something when you replace it with better. You're not giving up hamburger if you're dining on steak.

Additional Points
SB costs salary. There is only a certain amount of salary you can afford before it is unsustainable. In the context of sacrifice, if you have bigs with high SB then usually you have to get less of other skills to be salary efficient.

The normal meta is to go big in the usual 3 suspects, ID/IS/REB. I believe his question is asking how much of those stats should you swap for SB.
