What boggles me is that Marin is aware that these issues happen every pre-season and somehow he fails to prevent it every time.

I would like to complain about it. Because I was following a national player with time to go at 9 AM from Chile and we don´t understand why started to change the time of the sale, until the moment that the website was super slow or not working during the afternoon, so somebody bought it really cheap and we lost him. WHAT THE FUCK?.....

I would like to receive an update of what was going on yesterday. Because I can´t understand this. I consider this super unfair and still wondering Why did change the time of selling, but suddenly stop changing it when it came the worst moment of the day for the website.

Similar situation here. Bought a player (http://www.buzzerbeater.com/player/40554263/overview.aspx), the auction was supposed to end yesterday at 9:41 PM. It shows me as the highest bidder, but the auction is yet to end and the player is still not on my roster.

The difference from our... is that our had time at 9 AM from Chile, and it changes then to 12 PM and then to 3 PM From Chile. And in the last change was the worst hour to go inside the website, so we could not push for him and we lost him.

The thing I don't understand is why they change the hours of his sale? AND THEN WHY THEY DID NOT CONTINUE CHANGING IT UNTIL THE WEBSITE WILL BE GOOD FOR EVERYONE.

If he could stay at the time it was, nothing of this could happen.

First of all, I would like to give our apologies to all managers affected by the instabilities yesterday. They were caused by a very problematic large update of players' salaries and age. It is usually a 3 hour update but yesterday it ran for 6 until we gave up and decided to cancel it, which took another 9 hours to do.

Second, while we (and me personally) know that these instabilities happen every offseason, there is nothing we can do short of taking the site offline intentionally.

And lastly, we were unable to foresee the worst effects of the update. Mistakes were made in our estimates of the effects and we decided to stop delaying transfers after we canceled it. The cancellation of such updates usually doesn't really affect the site as much as the update itself, so we did not expect any more site instabilities but were wrong and transfers were, in the end, affected for a couple hours. Sadly, due to the nature of the instabilities it is impossible to determine which transfers were affected negatively and which weren't, so we couldn't reopen the transfers even if we wanted to.

Again, a combination of bad circumstances, an unpredictable problem and a human error resulted in a day lost for the offseason calculations and a lot of transfers affected negatively.

I am not satisfied with this answer. Especially with this part of the answer. Because we know that this happened every season.

I am an old user here, including my break of time that I was outside the game, and this always happened. But even if I as NT Manager can tell to people please don´t sell during those days, they can do it anyway. I truly believe that the market should not be allowed to make sells that will end during the Monday that start the draft until probably Wednesday that ends the update.

My biggest trouble is that the player that I am mad about it was ending his sale at 9 AM From chile, and it changes to 12 and then to 3 PM.... and AT 3 PM was imposible to go inside. But at 9 AM was totally working well, because I spend all morning yesterday making scouting.

SO I JUST DON´T Understand that.

Wish you a good day BB-Marin, I am totally respectful with the duty you have inside this game that I truly like. And I write this with my really big angry but at the same time with a proposal for a solution for the next season.

I fully agree with you.
Moreover it's really hard to understand how could happened in 2018 that a website could crash for an activity that is repeated every season..
Less focus on peanuts, more on big issues, please..

And than, as the auction were dealyed.. they should have been stopped and postponed by 24 hours.. I've lost two good player because I wasn't able to enter the website from 8 PM ant 10 PM (Rome time).. and so many other users, since there were no bids in the last half an hour before the end of the auction..

VERY BAD.

Fix the problem of the off season update and/ or close the market for that 2 days..
And rethink about your decision not to re-open the bids..

I knew something was up yesterday, and I was one of those negatively effected. Personally I think your apology here is enough and I don't understand the reaction of others.

Second, while we (and me personally) know that these instabilities happen every offseason, there is nothing we can do short of taking the site offline intentionally.

I would hate to see the site taken down, much better to have what happened yesterday than for it to have been completely offline for however long.

And lastly, we were unable to foresee the worst effects of the update. Mistakes were made in our estimates of the effects and we decided to stop delaying transfers after we canceled it. Again, I don't see how you could have done anything differently here. You seem to have made a reasonable decision based on what was happening and it didn't turn out the way you expected. That's not something you need to face criticism for.

If you take the time to read what I wrote, I am sharing my frustration, but in any time I am criticizing to BB Marin. In the otherwise, I can share mine disagree with something that then I am proposing a future solution for things like this will not happen again. In any moment I am trying to change what happened, I only want to create a constructive perspective about it to make it better.

I am mad about it, not for the fact that I knew that these days are like that every end of the season, it was more about that the changing the time of the sale to the moment that actually was not possible to go in.

That can make mad to anyone, not only to me. But besides that, I truly believe that there should be not allowed to sell players that the end of the sell will end in the days of the of season.

Hope you will not take it wrong. Have a nice day.

Rodrigo Monogra NTM Chile.

Its not that I didn't read what you wrote, I just didn't take enough time over my own post in order to avoid looking like I was criticising you. For that I apologise.

Thus is a very good suggestion
