One important feature for me is that in a "private" forum you can store links to important threads without having to look them up all the time. Another handy thing about a "private forum" is that the conversation between members is available in one topic. Me and my buddy, who lives in another country, discuss about various things (see my previous posts). The federation forum enables us to keep track of the discussions in different threads.

Well, I hope this helps us keeping our fed.

You can reduce the number of members or you could add a time limit, lets say 2 months for example, if during this period the number of members dont increase above the minimum then the fed will be deleted.

I would obviously prefer a reduction to 2 members. Increasing the number again would make more sense when there are a lot more supporters than there are now. Imagine how you would feel if your fed got deleted. A lot of valuable information might get lost.

Of course i dont mean that it will be deleted like that. It should be a notification firstly to the creator of the fed, something like ..." Within 15 days if you dont manage to increase the members of your fed above 5 unfortunately your fed will be deleted." for example.
