Coach has nothing to do with it. He is responsible only for training.

it looks strange indeed

The score difference was not so high to justify the unwanted subs in the last minutes as usually happens

is the stamina of your trainees very low? and are they very weak at the center skills?
maybe there is some point in the last minutes when their overall performance is so low that the engine is forced to find a better subs, in your case the strong PF who was on the bench in both those games.

The stamina I think is not the problem, it 4-5 and their center skills aren't that bad, that it justified this. Both have center skils between 6 and 8.

I have never seen things like that and I trained much worser players. I am playing this game from season 3 and I most of my games play with one player on one position and the only reason for substutution of my trainee was 6 fouls.

And now it happens twice in a row... I just want to know what am I doing wrong, so that I can correct. Now I have lost one week of training for my 3th treinee because of this.

And if this happened because the engine was forsed, I thing that this should be corrected because I now can not train my players normally.

Have you tried placing your trainee in sub and reserve then leave the starting position blank? This works for me since I had a similar problem like yours before I made the change. I haven't tried placing two blank positions but it works if you only select one position to blank out.

I will try this for the solution, but it is a strange solution without really knowing what is the reason for this strange subs.

It usually happens with low ST but can happen anyway if some backup player is actually miles better than a trainee and the trainee is playing at the natural position of that player.

Say I train my 18yo trainee in the PG slot and I have my a 200k guard with 110 outside skills set either as backup or starting SF. It is very likely he will sub in at either of the guard slots if:
- either guard is set as starter/backup/reserve
- the starting/backup SF is a decent player
- either guard is particularly bad compared to the player

This happens also in less extreme cases (but the wide gap should still be there even if not as huge). Including what Steve Teriyaki said, the only thing you can do is:
- set a 5 man lineup (or 6 man if for example you are training at PG and the backup player is a C set for one of the big men slots)
- make sure the entire team is bad or of a similar level as the trainee
- make sure you have an even weaker player in the lineup who is likely going to get subbed instead of the trainee. The fewer the subs the better
- be careful of strong players not playing at their natural position because that's where they typically get subbed in (even if they started at another position)

So yeah, either you bait the GE into subbing someone else or eliminate the option. On the bright side once they become decent themselves the trainees won't get subbed anymore.
