Thank you for your reply. It is great to hear advice from more experienced managers. I will improve my arena first then. However, I don't understand what is wrong with training 6 shooting guards in two positions. I am planning to get 6 of those Perennial Allstars or Superstars who are proper for shooting guard position and rotate their training among Jump shot, Pressure, Jump range, and Ball handling.

Thank you and other friends who are really helpful and giving thorough answers so that newbies become familiar and enjoy the game as much as you guys do.
Out of the skills you mention, Pressure and Jump Range are one-positions skills, which means the maximum training effect is realized when you select one position to train and make sure 3 guys play 48 minutes at said position. For JR, this position is SG, and for Pressure it's PG. It's significantly faster to train all skills that have their 100% effect as one-position that way.

I understand that in order to train NT players or fabulous players for competitive teams one position training is vital, but what about new teams who care more about training revenue? Isn't it more economical to train 2 positions until I finish my arena (14K, 6K, 500, 50)?

I'm not sure it's the best idea to train handling since HA trains as part of the driving regimen (if you choose driving for forwards, you also train JS and IS that way).

By driving regimen, do you mean One on One? Are you telling me that to improve handling it's best to train one on one for two positions (forwards)?

To be frank, I don't have experience with either training two-position for skills that are 100% at one position or training to sell, but I have the impression you'd maximize your sales income by going for maximum training effect, i.e. maximum speed for skills to pop - one-position training.

I also don't think it's necessary for new players to go for literally finishing their arena. Again, my team might not be the best example, but what I did was to expand gradually, in harmony with advancement through the leagues. That way, there was a part of funds always ready for investing into trainees or players to help me compete at a certain level. The ideal would be to get an impression of what arena size affords you good finances in the next tier league and go for that number.

Yes, I mean one on one. I've never trained handling in my 30+ seasons in BB, and I don't think I ever would, unless a player has significantly lower HA and needs to be finished off in terms of training.

I agree with what you said and just top it up I want to say that balance in developing arena and players is best way to enjoy this game. If you spend all of the finances on arena first and you have nothing left for youth players and some competitive games it will be kinda boring to play. However I agree that firstly you need to invest significant amount on arena, buy few players and try to improve profits and then continue to reinvest.
