I worry that testing this in scrimmages will affect many trainees. Scrimmages are when trainees usually play the full 48 minutes to maximize training.

That's a solid point for managers looking to get trainees 48 minutes in scrimmages when their CUP games end, such as myself. This could lead to increased amount of trainees being injured sooner, rather than later. That's very unfortunate to say the least.

I hate the idea of punishing players for playing 48 mins. It harms training players way too much, especially if you want to train 3 players in single position training.

I think the adjustment around it should be based on playing too many minutes week to week rather than in a single game.if players are playing 90+ mins a week it should increase their injury risk. This would reduce 5 man teams as they can’t just play 5/6 guys in every competitive game and would have to have some sort of rotation players to manage their minutes during those games

In my opinion the best fix is a combo of forcing eight players to suit up, and tweaking the substitution habits of the “coach”.

Make us dress eight players, and make it extremely hard for more than 1-2 of your players to get 48 mins each game. This way, players can choose 1-2 players to set as starter/backup/reserve for trainee minutes or for stars, and the other positions they are forced to assign a backup. If no backups are set, the coach chooses three of the players to not get full minutes and brings in the subs anyway.

"Do you guys not have phones?"

This is what I remembered after reading the news.

It is terrible when a game designer feel that he could teach players how to play his game.

Very arrogant, might kill bb, sad.

Like Teheran and myself, do you think we only like short rosters?
We want to have more stronger players. but the revenue keeps the same while the salary of each player increases a lot. What can we do? Steal money from the bank?
The financial income does not adjust with the implementation of GYM and youth trainers.

That's actually a valid point you brought up. One that I, myself, struggled with while competing in the B3 and D1. Players salaries have skyrocketed due to the increase to TSP. This has actually devalued the price of high TSP players on the TL due to the fact that very few managers can afford to pay their weekly salaries without operating in the negatives in revenue.

I just saw a 33 year old, 144 TSP, Chinese NT player go for around 300K. WTF?

I played with a six man rotation, not because I wanted to, but because I was already loosing money with just 6 players. I couldn't go any deeper without bankrupting myself. And by no means were my players salaries abnormally high. My players were otherwise pretty basic D1/B3 players around 145 TSP (based on today's standards of 155-160 TSP monsters). Most my player were under 200K, except for my center and guard. I did my best to keep salaries as low and efficient as possible.

How to fight short rosters? By damaging coaches who actually train players! What a brilliant and clever move!
