Usually i just look up the top 6-7 top salaried player of oponent. What i am looking is most efficient player/s, for example with reasonably high scoring average and also high true shooting %.

Then i try to make life for these players during the game as hard as possible placing best defenders in their positions.

Offense-usually best possible optiont that week depending on the forms and training minutes.

Defense: look back 5-10 games, what tactics used, if anything catches the eye. Usually there are no tendencies at higher levels. All scouting takes 3 mins.

For PO games or key games different situation Then looking deeper, as deep as past 2-3 seasons deep

I have tested inside box and one a lot and it is perfect, more suitable for opponents that play OUTSIDE tactics (reverse patient gets destroyed with this defense) . Dont let the name of the defense fool you it is best again outside teams.

After several tests and discussions in the forum with other players that have tried it I can safely say that it chooses ur best defender (which will be the player who has the biggest sum= OD+ID+SB) to guard their best outside player), the rest 4 players will form a zone and the opponent's best outside player will be at a constant double team situation, if his passing is good the game will be somehow balanced,(his best player wont make many shots though which is good) but if his passing is bad or too low compared to his JS DR then u neutralize most of his offensive options and u have an advantage.

China U21 and china national team have played this defense successfully completely neutralizing the PG/SG positions on an outside tactic. This defense can force the opponent to lots of mistakes or bad quality shots

Against look inside though, if know ur opponent has good passing I wouldnt recommend it because it allows too many drives that end up being either successful or fouled, compared to a man to man defense or 3-2 zone with SB monsters

i think both of team passing skills about 7-10 , so i believe 2-3 zone not a plan A, but i don't understand what is different 2-3 and Inside Box-and-One ?
china team very strong ,whatever u21 or national, i believe A big manufacturing country is a big population country
if i choose inside box and one , but if his passing is bad , his superstar have the right to fire wirelessly and devour the ball, but i remember inside box and one tactic defensive focus is Reduce opponents' inside players Number of shots . Is that right?

No, the inside box focuses on neutralizing the opponent's best outside scorer. Off course this does not mean that u cant use it against an inside tactic. To be honest I haven't tested it alot against look inside or low post to have a solid conclusion. Dont be afraid to use it though it is a good defense overall but like every zone it will have its pros and cons. My advice is if u have guards with 5-8 ID just play man to man otherwise play any zone that suits you. The 2-3 zone is definitely working better against look inside after the update

Have you also tested Outside Box and 1? You have a double defenders on his best inside player and rest of team defend a zone?

Well I have never played but most likely the outside box and one would be as you describe it, ur best overall defender (the player with the higher sum=OD+ID+SB) will guard the best inside scorer of the opponent and the rest of the players will form a zone. So yes it is the opposite of the inside box and one
