Let's set a ceiling level to training court. Have a free throw training max level to 12 with training court. From that level upwards only with team free throw training as it was before. Just no-one is missing FT anymore
I doubt adding a ceiling will make a whole lot of difference. Does anyone know if other skills are linked with training Free Throws because there are Scrubs on the transfer market with 64 FT (That's right...Legendary 64 FT) who are only hitting 50-80% from the FT when playing.
Right now there is a Scrub on the transfer market (as Bill above noted) with Legendary 64 FT with a salary of $237 (57 yr old) who only a couple of seasons ago (Season 65) when he played in a lot of games (as a scrub) finished the season with a 78% FT average...hitting 69/88!
Jump Shot: atrocious Jump Range: atrocious
Outside Def.: atrocious Handling: atrocious
Driving: atrocious Passing: atrocious
Inside Shot: atrocious Inside Def.: atrocious
Rebounding: atrocious Shot Blocking: atrocious
Stamina: mediocre Free Throw: legendary (64)
Experience: average TSP: 10 (6 + 4)
This is interesting.
It makes me think that having high FT isn't enough to guarantee high percentage FT shooting. Otherwise, even a scrub with 65 FT should not be missing many, if any, FT attempts.
Therefore, I wonder if other skills (Jump Shot, Stamina, Game Shape etc) might be linked to FTs? If so, then a ceiling would be unnecessary as changing the GE for this reason would affect other skills too perhaps?
I'm obviously making assumptions here.
