The most recent commentary is pulled from the server every 45 seconds. For some reason, this works fine on some occasions and on others it does it maybe 6 or 7 times perfectly and then decides it can't be bothered any more. It's proving hard to track down, but I know the symptoms, I just need the vaccination.

EDIT: I've tried it with various versions of flash and various browsers. Same problem every time for me. I'll keep looking.

I think this is fixed now. We'll have to wait for the lives games to see if it's still causing problems.

I've also added a little tooltip type popup to the shot symbols, so you can now see who fudged which chances from where. Thanks to Tattoro for the idea.

I donno about the rest of you but its freezing for me now in Firefox so maybe its not fixed. Least not on my end.

I was checking out the USA games and found the same - it's no better. My game in the German league ran fine for me for the first time ever this evening so I thought I'd cracked it. But no.

Back to the drawing board I guess. You're going to have to bear with me on this.

It wasn't something that happened a lot, maybe 2-3 times in the first half for me and none at all the second. Didn't bother me too much to just refresh.

It worked fine for me today, however the Box Score is still showing the game as going on...

Which is why the problem is proving such a nightmare to find. I can't reproduce it universally.
In theory it should work perfectly and scream out an error when it stalls.. but it doesn't, it dies quietly.

however the Box Score is still showing the game as going on...


That's probably a server updating issue, Charles has more knowledge of that area.

It's not that much bother to refresh, but it tends to happen at awkward moments. Scores tied and your team has the ball. After you realise it's frozen and you refresh the game you've missed the posession. It needs to be fixed.

I found a small logic error this evening which I managed to unwind. I watched a couple of the games that previously froze from start to end and they worked perfectly. I hope this has sorted out this particular problem ( but I've said that before ) ..
