50k/wk seems about right, if not a bit cheaper than my wages when I first started. I did make the mistake of going for a level 9 trainer right off the bat, which was a huge error (he was making around 20k/wk himself). Your players should run you between 30-40k/wk, and once you figure out how your finances are after paying the team, improve your staff according to what you can afford (Trainer and PR staff only, doctors are currently a waste). You'll also have the 3 TV games each season to pad your pockets

Over the course of the season you should see improvements in a lot of things (player performances, game attendance, player skills), and once the next season starts, you'll likely have more season ticket holders.
