first, i'd like to congratulate you on you're stunning election win. 2 votes to nil. that is a land slide.

second, how about you tell us something about your self and why you "ran" for this position.

Hi,
it's a great feeling, not to be alone in this forum. :)

Something about myself?
I am a 26 yrs old copywriter from Wiesbaden, Germany. I began playing Buzzerbeater at the end of Season 2 and promoted to the first german league in season 4, I guess.
Why did I run for this position?
Like I said in my "speech", I have been the manager of NT Germany last season. With about 1000 teams you have a plenty of options making a good team.
But after that, I wanted to break new grounds. A smaller BB-country with less players. I wanted to know about the possibilites I would have with a team like that.
And for that undertaking, I chosed Taiwan. Only about 100 teams, but a mediocre team.

And now, my goal is to promote to the world cup. We will need much luck of draw for the next round, but it could be possible.

Allright, we qualified to the next round. And against an even Philipines, we're about to lose. And I'm very dissapointed about it. It'll be much harder against opponents like Australia or Hong Kong, to come over with a win.

So the chapter "World Cup" could be over, before we could even increase our chances. But I will keep fighting for that goal and I do need your help too!
Please, don't set your player to play more than 60 minutes a week. A bad game shape is bad for your team and your NT also. You need your players in a perfect game shape, too!
And another thing: At the beginning of the season, I asked you for training determined skills. And besides of one player increasing in such a skill once, I did not see another skillup, on another player. So please, use the hints that I gave you. It would be good for your team, too.

My hands are tied, if you won't cooperate. And I want to achieve more, than just win a bunch of scrimmages. You should be proud of your NT, so keep working on your players. And if you have any question, feel free to ask!

Hello, :)

I am still a newbie in the lowest league in Taiwan who just started at the beginning of season 7, but I am really thankful to all your contribution to our national team. We are not a English-speaking community, and probably we are not a very active one, either. It really require enthusiasm and passion to interact with foreign communities, and I think I can understand your depression when your achievement did not meet your efforts.

I was helped by another Germany player in the Bundesliga league, and he gave me much advices regarding to training. You are really trying to improve our National teams, and I don't know what to say to thank you. Thank you for all you have done, and I wish you (and our national teams) could gain more height. Being a new player, I can not provide any players to stand under the national battlefield, but I wish I could provide a usable SG in a few seasons.

Thank you for reading this meaningless long message ;) Good luck!<(_ _)>

Hi there,
first of all: No message is meaningless. Long maybe, but not meanlingless. ;)
And I am not that depressed as it seems. Sure, a bit more cooperation would make it easier. But we still have chances in getting the third place and run the second chance qualifiers for the world cup.
And it has been a tremendous win against Hong Kong. I'm very proud of it.

I was helped by another Germany player in the Bundesliga league, and he gave me much advices regarding to training.

I guess LA-Yoginger? He's my supporter. I'm very thankful to him. And if you have any questions, or if you are willed to help our little team, too. You and every one else will be welcome. Maybe you can make my replacement, when "my job" is done. ;)

Hello :)

Thank you for your surprising instant reply. Yes the one who tried to help me was LA-Yogiinger thank you both. :)

Currently I think I need several seasons to train my player before he can contribute, and I am working in the Taiwan army to fulfill my duty so that I can access to the internet only in weekends. Maybe what I can do is very limited, but I'd like to help if I can.

Although I don't know much about the National Team, but I wonder what you need is probably a little communication. Although it's a little offensive, the translator you are using is really not very reliable anyway. (The current nature language processing technology is still under development and quite immature...orz) Furthermore, most of us are unfamiliar to communicate in English. Probably I can try to help you in translating if you need. :)

Good evening Taiwan,
it's noon in Germany and I'm watching our last game in round robin. If we beat New Zealand and Hong Kong wins against Philipines, we'll get the third place and therefor the chance to qualify for the WC in the second round.

If the Philipines win against Hong Kong, we have to win with a higher advance of at least 9 points, as the Philipines would win against their opponents.

At the moment, I feel confident. Keep your finger crossed, if you do that in Taiwan too. ;)

We did it!
We qualified for the 2nd-Chance-Qualifiers, with an awesome +42 win against New Zealand. We nearly climbed on Hong Kongs 2nd place, cause their lost with 17 against Philipines.
