Thanks both. There's so much to read and understand, so I guess i just have to be patient and try a little bit at a time. I'll fire the scrubs if noone else wants them. During this week I'll try to find some teenagers who can support my two/three "best" players. I think I'll sell them if I reach a financial crisis, not unlike the one hitting Wall Street as we speak. So unless I'm in dire need of cash, I'll try to train them and see what they can become =)

I wont hire any more staff. Just hired a coach, lvl4. Hope his salary doesn't put me into debt.

I was thinking of saving "Sandwich" Belloni, but if you think that is unwise, I'll reconsider. Just have to figure out what I want to do. I guess that as soon as I decide for a training pattern, many of the other pieces will fall into place.

I will add, some thought to your post in the ponts i had an other opion with you:

The way users usually train players is to pick 2 positions. The most obvious pairings are PG/SG and C/PF. This allows you to train at least 4 players

With 2 position training i would train 5 +1 guys, to train only for is a waste of training in my eyes becauseyou could easily share your minutes t 5 guys and maybe give a few minutes a lucky 6th guy.

But i also like 1 position training at start of the career, because you could concentrate on 3 trainees, who could be a it stronger at the beginning(because you only had t buy three of them^^)

A good combination to start out with would be a Level 4 Trainer, Level 2 Doctor, and Level 3 PR Manager. But if you can afford better staff then by all means get them.

I would say staff above level 5 is a bit of wasted money, but this has a bit time for him ;) I would start just with the level 4 trainer, and keep for the first weeks the level 1 doc and PR(the level one doc, i would hold a while)

You should only expand your arena when you are consistently selling out home games. And even then you should increase ticket prices first

you could build some VIP lounges at the beginning(1 or 2), ok but with zero VIP lounges they are automatically sold out^^

Thanks =) Yes, I'm going for the trainer and waiting with the PR guy and the physician. I'm waiting for my first match to go through before I decide what to train and what to do next week. But I'm still listening if more people want to give me their warmhearted advice =)

Thanks for all the advice, guys! I won my first game by 14 points, and I hope that evolves into a winning streak this saturday. I haven't decided what to train yet, but you'll be amongst the first to know when a decision has been made =)

Don't be rude - you use the Help forums as well.

Hi guys! New question...

FOUL TROUBLE

What does this mean? I tried to find something about it in the forums and in the rules, but I couldn't find anything. Can you tell me the difference between sit them, and let them play? Thanks =)

For those of you who wanted to know what I decided to do, I'm selling some of my best players. Almost the whole team has been transfer isted at one time or another, and I'm looking to improve the parts of the team I'm not training. Currently I'm training One on One for my guards, and I will change between different outside training systems every two or three weeks. So now you know =)
