Jason Kidd holds the NBA single game record with 14, and his handling and passing must both be legendary. So, if a guy in the best league in the world can have 14 turnovers in a game, I don't think it is too crazy that a guy in d.5 could turn it over 16 times.

And while I agrre with you that not too many teams press full court for 48 minutes, there are teams that do. For example, every team ever coached by Jerry Tarkanian.

Once I scored a basket that still makes me laugh.

Jason Kidd is a pointguard so the ball is in his hands most of the time. Centers usually only touch the ball for a few seconds at a time.

but it hurts really for anyone to have that much turnover in a game just by one person.

The NBA record for turnovers in a game by a center is 11. Sixteen by a center in what is roughly equal to the NAIA seems plausible as well.

This game only a scrimmage (10337263) but the other teams PF had 22 turnovers. He still killed it but yea its kinda ridiculas.

Yes, but some center have hands made from butter. They can't catch anything.

I agree that some TO numbers are quite off charts but it is a necessary thing payed for an option to play every player wherever you want. The game cnnot allow one skill to be irrelevant for some positions only.
