What about Wilt Chamberlin? 100 points in a game? It still counts.

In a lot of sports the "modern era" stats take precedence over anything else.

I'd also say that anything from an old-style forfeit does not count.

Okay, not sure if this is a record yet, but I've got a current regular season home winning streak of 25 games, which includes all of seasons 6 and 7, plus my opener in season 8. The streak continues...

Don't ask what sort of Chunks they are, you probably don't want to know. Blowing Chunks since Season 4!

check out a team in Al Maghrib..(shouldnt be too difficult to spot!) dont think he has lost since 1984.......

Just checked and he hasnt lost since the start of season 3!! (only 1 loss away as he inherited a side that was 0-1 before finishing on 21-1!)

_________

Just checked mine.... and in regular season i last lost on 8th Jan last year (my last game in season 3 before the playoffs - so i was taking it easy and harshly lost by 3) so thats 45 games for me and counting...

Baseball is a good example of the game changing and records becoming unreachable. I doubt anyone will ever beat;

Consecutive games played
Most Wins season
Most Starts (P) season
Batting Avg season
etc, etc

the consecutive games was recently broken in terms of baseball's longevity. but i see your point. baseball had a number of "eras" in which rules had to be changed. obviously right now it's the steroids era and players are hitting home runs left and right (though it's calmed down recently) and then there was the bad ball era when pitchers dominated. but the early buzzerbeater seasons are kind of ridiculous with how the games were played out. they still had a lot of bugs. i'd say anything past season 4 or 5 would be fine for consideration.
