How realistic is it that a team would play a game with only 6 players? That would mean a few players would have to play the whole game.

How realistic? Well, their club owner just decided it, so it is more than realistic, it's real. It happened. Tonight.

And moreover: how realistic would it be to mention it in the rules, anywhere? I have been searching for a way to optimize training time, I have been asking in threads. Nothing, no_thing_whatsoever about them. So realisticly I am annoyed. ;-)

People would just start 5 trainees during a scrimmage and they would all get their full training minutes.

Yes, that was of course the plan.

Edit: spelling

Have they always replaced real players during the game, though?

NO ONE at this table ordered a rum & Coke
Charles: Penn has some good people
A CT? Really?
Any two will do
Any three for me
Any four will score
Any five are live

The only thing that has been changed is that Lucky Fan now appears in the viewer, which wasn't the case before. I never got around to adding that bit until now. I've just been through a marathon viewer fixing and optimization session and the phantom from the crowd finally made it into the report.

In previous games, he/she/it appeared as a blank entry, and has now, as then, exactly the same effect and is still used in the same situations as before.

It's just a new presentation thing, nothing more, nothing less. If you check some older games that had blank entries, Lucky Fan has also now raised his ugly mug there too.

still havent worked out what a lucky fan is yet! (awaits the simplest of explanations!)

I narrowly lost my last scrimmage 109-98 with just 3 players and a sub.... now i came on strong later in the game but to no avail ;-)

do scimmage results affect fan mood (likelyhood of them turning up for next game?)

Actually it's not all that bad.

At the end of the game, in the report, the Lucky Fan is not mentioned, so all the minutes go to the players you set up.

It's all good

I don't think that's true. I'm missing 7 minutes (and Lucky Fan's 8 points) from my box score.

What's the minimum number of players to list on your match lineup to avoid the fucky fan from playing?

Hmm, you might be right, it does show 92 points for me, but if i add them up, they only come to 90.
