But my point is that I have to let my small forward play as a point guard.

Why do the gamemaster don't make it possible to train a small forward in his own position ?

There are separate trainings possible for Point guard, Shooting guard and Centers, but not for small forwards. (passing, handling, blocking, ect )
It says so in the rules that the small forward position is the most important one in the team.

That why I'm surprised there isn't any special training just for small forwards.

There is no "Best" position its all about how you train them their supporting cast and your opponent.

It's all in the situation

Ummm play your man at SF and during a scrimmage play him as Pg for OD training.

I always train my outside D by training PG,SG. Slide your SF and play him at SG. I find this to be best. peace

Playing SF at SG is what I'm doing as well. Yes you can possibly lose a little in the short term, but long term you'll have a much better SF.

i think he ment that if he wants to train one position he have to use his sf as a point
but i think that in reality you can become a master of presure defence only if you play and train as PG for long time...
the other positions let you cheat" a litle in OD

in my opinion the sf position is only there to play a third guard or a second pf, at least thats what i see most in this game...
