I watched the Mavs beat the Clippers yesterday and they were constantly taking Dirk off in their defensive sets, late in the game...

to be honest i havent seen alot of mavs games lately however the games ived seen mavs (mostly championship year) mavs plays zone defence :) and dirk came to his peak later than duncan did :) no disrespect to duncan but he played a well suited system since the start of his career :) not too mention he dnt get as much attention on defence compares to dirk because of manu and tony which i believe great players on their respective positions :) as i said its DEBATABLE

look at the real mvps what do russell, wilt, malone, kareem, jordan, lebron & duncan all have in common?

all great defnsive players

magic & bird werent but they were the best by so much it didnt matter so much
